Turning bed sheets into a body pillow

Turn it into a body pillow.

For this project, you need 2 bedsheets. One for the outer covering of the body pillow and the other for the stuffing.

Before you start, clean both bedsheets thoroughly. Bleach them to kill off any old dust mites and wash them thoroughly and dry them completely.

Do it yourself body pillow

Take the bedsheet with the better looking design for the outer covering. Don't worry about the tears or stains. These can be folded into the body pillow.

Fold the bedsheet lengthwise with the nice side on the outside.
Fold the bedsheet across the width, hiding the stains or tears into the fold, so the nicest part of the bedsheet shows. Now you should have a rectangle the same shape as the bedsheet but a quarter the original size. The tears and stains should not be visible from at least 1 side of this rectangle.
Iron down the edges of this smaller rectangle and sew down all 4 edges
Fold this rectangle lengthwise, with the nicer side on the INSIDE
Sew the outer edge of the rectangle, down the length of the rectangle and along 1 side, leaving 1 short side open
Turn it inside out. That is your body pillow.
Stuff the body pillow with the other bedsheet.
Sew the opening shut
